BOOK LOVE BOOK CLUB
A dynamic online professional community
of teachers, authors, and educational leaders
Welcome to the Book Love Book Club
This is a Year To Discover and Reimagine Teaching with a Worldwide Community
Carving out time to read and learn with colleagues helps us restore our joy in learning and to reflect on the impact we have on our students. The Book Love Book Club is a space that invites you to read and respond personally and professionally. Here you will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, to expand your understanding of current literature, and to re-energize your understanding of literacy for the next school year.
We discuss books that inspire students to become passionate readers and writers. Our book selections for elementary, middle, and high school students represent our multi-racial world. We believe a volume of reading can develop peace and compassion in school communities. We seek to deepen an understanding of our shared humanity. We study how readers make meaning, sustain their engagement, track their understanding over time, and develop their knowledge of literature. As a community of professional educators, we learn together and plan instruction together to reach a wide range of readers. We learn from authors, poets, creators, and educational leaders all year.

All K-12 teachers, reading specialists, curriculum specialists, school librarians, literacy leaders, and administrators will find value here.
